Mumbai – In a dramatic twist straight out of a Bollywood thriller, Salman Khan’s upscale residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, became the stage for two shocking security breaches this week. As if reel life wasn’t dramatic enough, real life around the superstar has taken a dark and bizarre turn — prompting fans and residents alike to wonder: is Bhai turning into a real-life panoti magnet?
On May 19 and 20, two people, a man and a woman, entered Galaxy Apartments on two separate occasions. Although both were apprehended before they had direct contact with the actor, their close encounters have raised great concerns about the level of efficacy of the current security system, especially considering the ongoing threats Khan faces from criminal organizations.
The first incident involved a woman identified as Isha Chhabra, who reportedly talked her way past security by claiming she knew someone in the building. Once inside, she made a beeline for Salman Khan’s apartment and boldly rang the doorbell while the actor was at home. However, luckily, she was intercepted by an alert security team near the lift area and subsequently handed over to the Bandra police. When we questioned her, Isha stated that she did not even know the male intruder who would arrive just hours later, and that she’d just acted impulsively and separately.
If that wasn’t dramatic enough, the very next day saw an even more suspicious character attempting to reach the actor. Jitendra Kumar Singh tried twice on May 20 — once in the morning and again around 7:15 pm. He cleverly used a resident’s car as a cover to gain access to the building but was caught before he could reach Khan’s door.Singh is currently in police custody while authorities examine his motives and connections.
With two consecutive attempts at trespass in less than 48 hours, attention is now firmly focused on the internal security of the building. Were these incidents the result of incompetence, or is there something more intentional occurring, such as inside jobs? Mumbai police have begun investigating whether the intruders had any assistance from within the building. Galaxy Apartments residents may soon find themselves answering some difficult questions, as authorities work to rule out any inside involvement.
These incidents come in the wake of the chilling April 2024 shooting outside Khan’s residence — an attack the Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for. That led to an immediate upgrade in the actor’s security status to Y+ level. Yet, even with enhanced security, two strangers managed to get dangerously close to the actor in just two days. Is the threat still being underestimated?
While fans on social media express outrage and disbelief, some are beginning to speculate whether a string of unfortunate events around Salman Khan is more than a coincidence. From death threats to gunfire and now intrusions, the air around Bhai seems charged with tension and unpredictability.
As the police continue their probe and Salman’s team reassesses security protocols, one thing is certain — being a superstar in India is no longer just about box office numbers and fan adulation. It comes with a heavy price, and in this case, a growing question mark about personal safety.
For now, Salman Khan remains unharmed, but the message is loud and clear: the Galaxy may shine bright, but it needs a far stronger orbit of protection.
