Looks like the internet just can’t handle a bangin’ makeover! Actress Mouni Roy turned heads recently with her brand-new hairstyle featuring bangs, but instead of claps, she got claps back from the troll army who accused her of “hiding failed cosmetic surgery”* behind her new fringe.
Enter the rumour mill: Social media went into overdrive with synthetic AI-generated videos of Mouni sporting ultra-high brows and puffed cheeks, getting gossipmongers in a tizzy. The internet delivered a plastic surgery gone wrong verdict. But wait until you hear what Mouni had to say — she didn’t just clap back, she prayed for them!
In a fiery interview with Zoom, the Naagin star said:
“Sometimes I see those AI videos… It’s so cringe. It’s disgusting to see your face distorted on someone else’s body. What do these people even want? Bad karma is all they’re earning.”
But she didn’t stop there. Mouni, who’s all zen and savage at once, added:
“Earlier I used to block these trolls. Now, I just feel pity. You should pray for them. These are phantom people, hiding behind screens, writing vicious things for likes. Social media has become a nasty place.”
Mouni will next be seen raising hell (literally) in the horror film The Bhootnii, opposite Sanjay Dutt. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev and produced by Deepak Mukut and Dutt himself, the film also stars Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, and Navneet Malik
